Travelers Safety Inspection
On Saturday February
27th, the Washington University Police and Parking Services, in
partnership with Hartmann's Towing, will once again sponsor a free
Traveler's Vehicle Inspection service to student's, faculty and
staff. Persons anticipating traveling by car for winter break can
bring their vehicle to the parking lot at the Alumni House, Wallace
& Forsyth
between noon-2:30pm for
a free inspection.
Staff will check tire pressure, fluid levels, wipers, and head and
taillights. Local businesses have donated oil and windshield
washer fluid to allow us to top off fluids before traveling.
"Too often we all neglect to check our vehicles before taking off on a
trip", said Chief of Police Don Strom. "This is a great, quick
and easy opportunity for members of our campus community to get their
vehicles inspected and help ensure they have a safe trip over the
upcoming break."
The WUPD Bear Patrol will assist the Police and Parking staff.
